My MRC in all its accessorized glory.
-The Elcan optic is a good design I think. With the throw of a lever it goes from 1X to 4X. Most likely a simple and light weight red dot would be more common on a gun like this.
-The suppressor is part of the complete system and there would be a preset on the gas block for it. The purpose of the suppressor is not maximum sound reduction. The focus is on size, muzzle flash suppression, and sound reduction to the point that locating the shot by ear is difficult for the enemy. Protecting the user's hearing is important, especially in buildings where this gun will see the most use, but it wouldn't likely be the most effective sound suppressor in history. Like the gun, it's finding a balance between size and suppression. We also want it to be extremely durable like the rest of the system. Keeping in mind that reliability and strength are main goals, this can should sacrifice sound reduction to gain longer life.
-As I said before with the drum magazine, I don't care if the current offerings work or not, make me one that does.
The motto here is that this is a complete system built with an emphasis on function, simplicity, strength and RELIABILITY OVER accuracy.
