An Olds like this got me into muscle cars and I actually took pictures of that car and drew it. It was the second vector car I'd ever done and I was never happy with it, which is why you don't see it here or on my website. Not too long ago I got into those Jada Toys Big Time Muscle diecast models. If you like em low with giant wheels and rubber band low tires then these are for you. I set up a photo shoot with that sweet evening light and my model car then went straight to Illustrator. I wanted to smooth it out and clean up some of those little rough spots that make it look like a toy. Anyway, this is a tribute to the car that started it all for me so I wanted it to be clean and I gave it all my curve drawing skills. Hopefully they show because there are some complicated curves in this.
